“THE LUNATICS ARE RUNNING THE ASYLUM!”
--- A popular
expression that usually means that something major has occurred within an
organisation affecting perhaps millions of people causing the sane and
intelligent person to think that it is too incredibly stupid to be true.
The latest such event has
just happened in the United Nations.
There used to be a country
called Rhodesia, known at that time as the “bread-basket” of Southern
Africa, for it exported about 20 - 25% of its food production even in the
regular period drought years. I know because we lived in that area for 25
years from the 1970s. My mouth still waters when I think of a Rhodesian
steak (sorry vegetarians): but alas, they are no more. The Rhodesian-$
used to be almost on a par with the £-sterling (it is now Z$500.000 to the
£: yes ½-million and three months ago the currency was devalued
knocking three noughts off the previous value). The Rhodesians citizens of
all races and colours were happy and prosperous with a life expectancy of
around 75 to 80 plus years. The National Geographic reported at that
time (1970s) that despite sanctions and terrorism sponsored by the communist
Eastern Bloc, the high growth rate and the happiness of all Rhodesians
was very obvious. Conditions were reported to be better than in many
areas in the USA. But the Marxist meddlers could not have this situation
where, because there was good government running the country, it had to
change because it was predominantly white. Many of the third
generation white citizens had been living there longer than many of the
Blacks who had moved there in the 70-odd previous years attracted by the
prosperity and peace of Rhodesia. Constant propaganda, much of it lies,
sponsored by the Communist Bloc everywhere including the United Nations
persuaded the leaders in Europe and the West generally that change was
needed as the Blacks “wanted their freedom” after the handover by Britain as
a former colony. But no one went around and asked them as that would
destroy the illusion. They had their freedom, freedom to eat, to be happy
and live well. But with the constant murdering and mutilation of especially
the Blacks by the terrorists, some of whom are now in power, to coerce them
into supporting the new terror leaders, and the betrayal by Britain with the
Lancaster House Agreement, well, as they say, the rest is history: but it is
a blot on the British historical conscience in my opinion.
But then I could be called a
racist by the PC Brigade (PCB) for writing that in the UK. But please
read on.
Rhodesia was not South
Africa. No Apartheid existed, but the Marxist propaganda spouted out by the
terrorists and the Eastern Bloc who wanted the strategic minerals in
Rhodesia forced the issue. And the World at large either believed the
propaganda or just did not care. Probably as now with Mugabe.
There are now reported to be
three million Zimbabweans living in South Africa having moved there
to escape the poverty and starvation, another one million are
scattered around the World, some illegally or legally are in the UK, and the
remainder are either the card carrying members of the ruling ZANU Party
headed by Mugabe (no “President”, no respect for this murderer), or they are
in the other four million plus expected to starve this year as there
is no food or even the seeds to plant, nor the machinery to farm with, or
fuel and other essential needs. The forests are just about finished in many
areas as they have been cut down by people desperate for fuel, and
transportation fuels are a precious commodity when available. It has been
seriously joked there that it is cheaper to use a large denomination
banknote rather than toilet paper, not that you can get the latter.
Wild game, even on the game reserves set up in the days of Rhodesia, has
been almost been wiped out as hungry people have hunted them almost to
extinction. Although the many grabbed and now derelict farms (many are
owned by Mugabes’ cronies who know nothing about farming and do not care to
anyway) still have water in the dams but the fields are dry and barren as
the irrigation machinery has been vandalised beyond repair or stolen. It
is a fact that Mugabe, a Shona, is guilty of the genocide of thousands of
the Matabele Tribe by his “Fifth Brigade Army” after he was made
President in 1981. Why has he not been charged and arrested with this
crime against humanity? He is reported to be coming to Portugal soon to
attend a meeting. (Anyone for a citizen’s arrest?)
Now with a fanfare of
trumpets, the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development is
to be chaired by Zimbabwe this year. It is Africa’s turn to run the
show this year, and although the voting was close, enough African nations
have voted for Zimbabwe. This commission’s task is defined as “balancing
the fulfillment of human needs with the protection of the natural
environment so these needs can be met not only in the present, but in the
indefinite future”. The commission is voted on each year by a territory
and this year it was Africa’s turn. So the country that cannot even run
itself is to investigate ways and recommend to the World on how to conserve
energy, promote the needs of human life and protect the environment.
The “lunatics are running
the asylum”; and in this case, the asylum must be the United
Nations who have allowed this to happen.
Just as the Sudan
(ethnic cleansers in Darfur) was previously named Chair to the UN Human
Rights Commission (2004), and the President of Interpol is the
South African Commissioner of Police, a politically appointed position
in SA that in the seven years of his leadership (he was previously an ANC
terror leader trained in the Eastern Bloc) still has the worst serious and
violent crime in the World, once again the human race appears to be proving
that it prefers to have inept and corrupt leaders in charge. Even in Uganda
there are talks of throwing out the Indians who again dominate commerce
because they work so hard. The last person to do that was Idi Amin.
But George Orwell’s 1984
is here with, it would appear, many of us too scared to state
facts in public, especially in the UK with the PCB using illegal
threats by calling the righteous protesters “racists” when particular
countries or groups are correctly castigated by concerned individuals or
groups based on the facts and with a fear for the future. As an engineer, I
was taught that you have to recognise a problem before you can start to fix
it. The citizens of the West are going to, as usual, pay with our
taxes to try and correct the injustices in these countries and already
Gordon Brown has made overtures to Africa with British tax-payer’s cash
while many pensioners live in relative poverty having had their private
pension funds raided by him. This in addition to the trillions of dollars
“donated” to Africa in the last 50 years, much of the debt amounts being
cancelled.
Do you really want to put your futures into the hands of people who make
such terrible mistakes due to their emotional and financial stakes in mainly
discredited PCB theory?
As someone who lived for
twenty-five years in Southern Africa and who feels passionately for the
many millions of poor people of all races in Africa who live there under
inept governments that do anything to stay in power, I refuse to be
silenced by the few who have vested interest in continuing with the
“bullying” tendencies of the PCB. I still have family living there and
now, in South Africa where they live, it is the most dangerous country to be
in as far as serious violent crime is concerned. This is why I am against
the PC Brigade that infects the UK, objecting by illegally threatening with
the hate laws anyone who speaks the facts that do not fit in with their
liberal theories, and I feel sorrow for those without the strength of
character to also stand up to them.
We should not ignore the
actions of these inept and often barbaric leaders all around the world
because many of us appear to be scared of being called a “racist”.
Unless you are criticising whites, of course and then they seem to be happy.
Be a “realist” and speak out to defeat the evil on our planet regardless
of race or colour.
Thank God the PCB that has
infected the UK is not common or even wanted here in Spain (ask the
Spaniards). So do not be afraid of them. Stand up to them.
Now, about the “new global
warming industry rip-off.” But that
is another “rant”.
