What if Apartheid had carried on?

[Here is an interesting
commentary. The writer does understand what would have happened if SA had
fought on instead of handing over South Africa to Mandela's terrorists, the
African national Congress in 1990. But the whole world would eventually have
attacked us on behalf of the ANC, such was the propaganda onslaught by
the Marxist backed ANC.
Moving to Liberalism was like letting the pressure out of a boiler about to
blow. In a way, its quite a clever tactic.
My only difference is this: Remember - Liberalism is NOT the final and
correct SOLUTION though! Liberalism prevented us from being
attacked and it allows us to move from being on the moral-low-ground to the
moral-HIGH-GROUND! Nice long term
move.
But one must not think Liberalism is the full solution. The ANC can destroy
us if we remain "Liberal" - just as Mugabe has defeated the Liberals of
Zimbabwe. Jan]
On 15 March,2007 the
Rightwing, Conservative blogger, Knorrig, asks a very interesting question
on the “Why South Africa Sucks” controversial website. He asks, “What if
Apartheid never was?”

Knorrig argues/speculates that given the lack of progress of black Africans
by the end of WWII, South Africa would never have reached the heights it
did, basically a first world infrastructure on a third world continent.
The ensuing debate then rages on; spearheaded by the communist CrimeX, who
argues that Apartheid “WAS”, but never should have been. Apart
from that, there isn’t much in his longwinded cliché of an argument.
It is well known that Knorrig and the squad at WSAS holds some strong
rightwing views and slag off liberals as a sadistic hobby, whereas it is
equally well known that CrimeX is by an avowed Communist.
(I am trying to be as euphemistical as possible).
I want to create a new hypothesis and maybe show them both how vague their
worlds are they live in. I want to ask the question,
“What if Apartheid carried on?”
I am what could be described as “Apolitical”. Reason being
is my disillusionment with modern politics and politically correct science
that traps people in a state of intellectual communism.
Further, I am a soldier.
Let’s start with a review. Let’s look at the people who were running South
Africa prior to 1994 when the first fully democratic elections took place,
namely the National Party. The NP was made up of
predominantly, but not exclusively, Afrikaners. Without going
into too much detail about the history of the Afrikaners, lets just say they
were Western European settlers from mostly Dutch decent, who settled in
South Africa from 1652. At first it was only farmers who
came to start a halfway supply station for ships (Dutch
East Indies Company) coming around the horn of Africa travelling
between Europe and The Far East (the name Boers, meaning farmers is from the
Dutch), but later on they were many more Protestants from Holland, Germany
and France fleeing religious persecution from the Roman Catholics in Europe.
The Boer Afrikaners fought many battles against the Xhosa tribes (who
lived in the Eastern side of SA) and decided to trek inland where it was
as they hoped, a little friendlier. Unfortunately they came
across even more violent natives. They fought some and made treaties with
others. The main deciding battle was the defeat of the Zulu’s at the Battle
of Blood River so named after the battle where the blood of many of the
10.000 Zulus that attacked the 464 Boers wagon train. One Boer was
slightly injured..
Nevertheless, the Boer
Afrikaners founded their own Countries namely The Zuid Afrikaanche Republiek
(ZAR) and the Orange Free State (OFS). In the last half of the
1800s, the British showed a keen interest in these two countries, mainly
because of the discovery of gold and diamonds. The Boers had to defend
themselves against the British twice. The second Anglo Boer war 1899-1902
was Britain’s most expensive war to date at that time. They never expected a
handful of dedicated, vastly outnumbered Boers to put up such resistance.
Nevertheless the Boers eventually surrendered, because of the scorched earth
policy of the British and the deaths of 27 000 women and children in British
concentration camps.
After the war, the impoverished Afrikaners slowly started clawing their way
back and the Union of South Africa was founded in 1910. In 1948 the National
Party came to power, but South Africa only received their independence from
Britain in 1961. The National Party was largely responsible for the policy
of separate development of races in South Africa also sometimes called
“Apartheid”. However, the British had operated a similar policy
although it as not written into law. The Afrikaner people were
deeply religious. They read the Bible daily and were regular churchgoers.
Why would they believe in the suppression of other races… or did they?
Were the laws created under Apartheid meant to destroy people…or to help
them?
Let’s look at the facts. These Christian Afrikaners were good people
who knew the black Africans and understood them.
They built separate schools and universities for blacks. They built separate
hospitals for blacks. The biggest hospital in the Southern hemisphere,
Baragwanath (largest hospital in the World covering
173 acres or 70 hectares with 3.200 beds and 6.750 staff), was
build by white Afrikaners for blacks. What is more the White Afrikaners
built more houses for the blacks than the current ANC government ever did
and ever will and the houses were so well built that they are still
standing 50 years later, unlike the ones built by the ANC since 1994, many
of which are falling down due to poor workmanship).
Now lets look at the black tribes in South Africa from 1652 until present.
Their total numbers were only a few hundred thousand collectively and stayed
like that for 250 years. Why, because Black Africans had a high mortality
rate from all kinds of diseases. The European arrived and dealt with this
problem with intelligence and eventually eradicated most disease. The Blacks
did not. Their evolvement and method of dealing with high mortality was to
make more babies. So a balance existed. Blacks died of all sorts of natural
diseases, such as Yellow Fever, Malaria, Cholera, and also constant tribal
wars amongst themselves. There was also the many wild animals, snakes, etc.
So their numbers were kept naturally down as in prehistoric times elsewhere.
Along comes the Christian, white, Boer Afrikaners and upset this balance.
They also suffer from all of these diseases but have the knowledge and
determination to not only cure them but to eliminate the causes.
Malaria was almost totally eradicated in South Africa by the 1970s. They
started inoculation programs for ALL children, black and white. They built
dams and supplied most of the people with clean water. They build more and
more hospitals and the life expectancy of blacks
soared. They built mines and factories and the vast majority that
wanted to work could, even though they may have to move for the work, but
leave their home and owned land intact in their allocated homeland.
South African farmers produced the best food in the world and the black
people become fat under white rule. Eventually, the black peoples had the
highest standard of living compared with all blacks on the continent of
Africa. In a hundred years their numbers soar 20 fold, from about 2 million
in 1902 to 40 million in 2002.
How did the Afrikaners curb the constant tribal wars (and these are still
happening in other African countries with terrible genocides committed by
their own leaders) amongst the different groups of South Africa?
They kept them separate! Apartheid
was a necessity to keep the peace and prevent anarchy. Those Boer
people knew Africa. They knew Africans. They knew you could never force them
to live together. They gave each tribe an independent homeland, a Heimat, a
place to go and call home. Even on the mines where Africans form
other countries came to work, they had to be kept in separate living
quarters to stop them fighting and killing each other.
These decisions weren’t made as "thumbsucks". The previous government made
detailed studies before taking such decisions and making such laws.
Apartheid was there to keep the peace, plain and
simple.
Unfortunately, the rest of the world did not see it like that.
Due to the Communist blocs seeing it as a weakness
that could be exploited to allow them sole access to the minerals and other
riches of the continent, they instigated and supported terror groups who
would fight to take control. As a result of the
propaganda, Apartheid was seen as an injustice to humanity. Morally
reprehensible. When the whole Western World was in a cold war with the
communists, the Afrikaners fought them to a standstill in Angola and
defeated them. The entire Communist world took on the Afrikaners.
In Angola, there were Cubans, Russians, East Germans and the local blacks.
The South African Defence Force mainly led by Afrikaners but with many
English-speaking members as well, gave them the hiding of their lives. One
would think that the West would have supported such an ally as South Africa,
but no. Apartheid was seen as worse than Communism.
Just about the entire Western World placed sanctions against South Africa.
South Africa was kicked out of the United Nations, the British Common
Wealth, the Olympics, the soccer World Cup, The Rugby and Cricket World
cups. Our athletes were unwelcome everywhere in the world. A South African
passport was basically useless. That is how the West treated the country
that defeated the communists in Africa. We had the entire world against us.
(All because of a powerful propaganda machine orchestrated by the Soviet
Union.)
Even so, South Africa was doing well. They developed a method to make
gasoline out of coal and that provided 40% of their needs on a restricted
basis. Iran and other countries still provided oil to make up the
balance. If the oil supply had dried up, SA had enough oil to last two years
with it being stockpiled in old mines and large underground containers
especially built for that purpose. Such was the resolution of the
Africans called Afrikaners. They had a space program. They
were a nuclear power with one nuclear power station and nuclear bombs which
were destroyed so the ANC could not. The SA currency, the Rand was stronger
than the US dollar. The question was, how long could they hold out for?
Personally I think a long time, perhaps decades. They were totally
self-sufficient. I do not think they would have held out against an
Iraq-style invasion though but the situation did not merit that as SA was
not intent on attacking other countries for any reason other than defence as
the terrorists were given sanctuary and allowed to operate from them.
The other question is why?
Why would the Western world treat such an ally as the skunk of the world?
What would have happened if the whites in South Africa continued in power?
Remember how the blacks multiplied 20 fold under Apartheid? What would have
happened if that was allowed under the other colonial powers in the rest of
Africa? The Blacks would have migrated to the mother countries in Europe and
overrun them as is being attempted now but in far greater numbers. That is
why the colonial powers withdrew from Africa and left them to their own
devices. Then blacks resorted to tribal warfare again and sank back into the
Stone Age. Their countries collapsed and their numbers are not a
threat to Europe and the USA anymore.
We
must remember that before the European arrived, the African indigenous never
built permanent buildings. The ruins of Zimamabwe are thought to have been
built by invaders. They never had the wheel or used horses (zebras)
for transport. As the Africans were unable to write (they never developed
the art), there is no written history to check anything. History in
northern South Africa started in the early 19th Century with the Europeans
arriving, specifically the Afrikaners through the great Trek, and the
English who set up a port in Durban. To the north in what is called
Mozambique, there were the Portugese in Lourenco Marques (Maputo) who dated
from the 16th Century.
The same in South Africa. The blacks would have just continued breeding and
breeding under Apartheid and it would have come down to a full blown race
war between blacks on one side and the whites, Indians and the coloureds
(mixed races who tended to side with the whites) on the other and there is
no doubt that, if no interference occurred from the outside World, the
whites would have slaughtered the blacks in their millions. But the rest of
the world would have invaded us. Many Afrikaners today do not understand
this. They see F.W de Klerk, Pik Botha and Roelf Meyer, those who were in
power or influential at the end, as traitors. How could any country
willingly give over power to the enemy without being defeated militarily and
why?
Fact is. South Africa could not fight the entire world. They were good, but
not that good. If the Afrikaners had to win a race war against the blacks it
would have signalled their end as the whole world would have invaded us!
So what to do then? The Afrikaners knew the blacks could never run the
country. They couldn’t even run their own homelands (the separate states set
up to ensure that the different tribes did not kill each other for land and
power, and they could develope at their own speed) with massive aid from the
whites to boot. There was no way blacks would ever be able to run South
Africa. So why give them the power?
It was about self-preservation of their species. How did they achieve
it? Simple. They became liberal, very liberal.
It would appear that everyone loves liberals. They are such good people. The
more liberal you are the better is your chance of winning the Nobel peace
prize. Hand the country to the blacks. Let them introduce all
their liberal laws, sit back and watch. Light a cigarette; get a beer, the
show is called “The New South Africa”. Lets sit and watch the
blacks self-destruct. Nobel prize is in the bank, so who gives a
Fork. It is easy to imagine many thinking this as the easy way out
long-term. But damn the whites who had
made South Africa the country it was with a Gross Product of 45% of the
whole of Africa.
Come with me; let me lead you into the light my friends. The
introduction of Affirmative Action has got rid of all the worthwhile doctors
and nurses. South Africa is so desperate for these now, they are
trying to attract them back from the countries to which they have escaped.
State hospitals are busy grinding to a halt. Who dies? Not
the whites who mainly can afford the private hospitals, I can assure you.
Blacks. The engineers are gone, no more roads for the ambulances to travel
on. No more new dams and fresh water. Sewage plants are inoperative.
Typhoid has attacked several municipal areas killing people. Bad
sanitation spreads diseases such as Cholera and Hepatitis B.
Electrical power outages for hours are common in all areas especially the
major cities. A bolt the size of a finger is dropped into a the
Koeberg nuclear power station turbine (as big as a train) during a routine
inspection and the damage costs the country six months of lack of power and
millions of US dollars to repair. One possible reason was that the
junior engineering staff had been replaced by blacks due to Affirmative
Action. Since then many of the senior engineering staff have left.
No more electricity and more people die on operation tables. Children
are not inoculated against Polio and TB anymore. More and more
blacks start to die. The life expectancy drops from the average of
about 70 years. In neighbouring Zimbabwe, it is already down to 35
years again, from 80 years when it was called Rhodesia, as it was before the
Europeans arrived just over 100 years ago.
As in Zimbabwe, chase the farmers off their land. It does not matter that
when their parents and grandparents farmed the virgin land, there were no
blacks living in the area. Blacks are not farmers. They stay in
one area until the soil is finished and then move on. Starvation and
malnutrition sets in and takes more lives. First the white teachers are
offered cash to resign, and they leave the country to go where teachers are
in desperately needed. Teachers leave the country in droves.
Education levels drop and more people die, because they are ignorant about
diseases and dangers. On assuming power, the national police
force is told no more recruitment, no more pay increases until many of the
professional members leave. Black police are recruited
(many cannot read or write), many given senior positions (one is a convicted
terrorist murderer) and the crime wave starts. Tie the hands of the
police and criminals run rampant. More and more, mainly blacks die due to
crime. The rape rate increases and HIV levels soar. Approve gay rights and
gay "marriages". More people are infected with HIV.
Open the borders to illegal immigrants. Let them bring in more
drugs and spread prostitution, especially the Nigerians. More
black people are infected with AIDS and die.
The liberal West uses Communism to depopulate Africa.
Right-wing Whites don’t need to plant bombs. Why take a gun and shoot ten
black people and then spend your entire life behind bars? All you have to
do, Mr. Right-winger, is become a Liberal. Liberal policies kill
blacks in their hundreds of thousands if not millions.
590.000 die of AIDS alone every year in South Africa.
Mr. Right Winger, you just need to support the ANC in South Africa and they
will be killing more blacks than all the bombs you could muster.
What is worse is that the world will love you for it and call you a good
humanitarian! You might even get a Peace Prize or be knighted!
Unfortunately Conservatives won’t do it, because they are really good
Christian People, who truly care about blacks.
You see they did not do as the Americans did in the first 100 years when
they colonised the USA. They ensured the destruction of the American
Indian races, or the relegation to reservations on badlands where they
battle to live, alcoholism claiming many lives. The Afrikaners and the
other Europeans nurtured the blacks but knowing their limitations, they
restricted their power.
And for you Mr. Liberal; If you really care about blacks and if you really
want to help them, you will become Conservative, but we also know that you
never will. Either Political Correctness blinds you or you have an Agenda.
Which is it?
And the blacks in this game between left and right? Shame. They believe all
the Liberal Leftist, Communist lies. Even after millions of them have died,
they will still believe the lies. They truly believe they are “free” and
living in a “democracy”. After all they can vote, but they vote
for the party that is going to cause their ultimate destruction as most did
in Zimbabwe, Uganda and so on.
So what is the white man to do in South Africa then? My advice
is to become liberal. The more liberal the higher the
black death toll will be. The whites must just bite the bit (“Vasbyt”)
for a few years. There will be some losses and collateral damage as there
are in every war. If they can pull through that, they will be
all right. Further they should propagate liberal policies
amongst their own, such as “Free Love”. In other words, Whiteys;
“Start breeding”. In a few years from now they might even
outnumber the blacks. Open the borders to Whites from other countries.
This is where the previous government went wrong. They could have gained the
cream of Europe, but they were too scared that their Afrikaner culture would
be affected. If they started that policy in 1948, we could have
outnumbered the blacks today. That is what Canada, Australia and New Zealand
are doing; taking the cream of South African whites!
So you see? What a crazy world we live in!
Liberals are actually the real Racist Rights and the Conservatives are
actually the bunny hugging, caring souls.

New York Times: Africa's Universities are
Collapsing

[I am delighted with this article in the New York Times.
The way they write it, "Africa's Universities in Crisis"... hmmm... sounds a
lot like: AfricanCrisis hey!!! EXACTLY!!
Firstly, this decay does not surprise me. We whites predicted this all
along. The blacks start out with functioning countries which, bit by bit
start collapsing. Now, interestingly, once the collapse begins - it
accelerates. Its a vicious spiral of collapse which leads to new and bizarre
forms of mayhem. Once blacks leave that "running engine" which whites
created, they lose their ability to get back to where they were. From there
on it is a vicious spiral of ever increasing madness.
(Now in the UK, this would be described as racialism
by the liberals and the law would probably support them. Why? Is
it the truth? Yes, of course it is so why should the truth be hidden?
Unless the liberals are frightened of being found out, that they were
terrible wrong after all. But how can you correct a problem if you
fail to admit the truth?)
Secondly, this is happening right here in South Africa now. Back in 1989,
two friends of mine, who are computer programmers, left to go to Australia.
They passed to me some of their private customers to deal with and over the
next seven years, from time to time, I dealt with one of their small systems
which was sitting in the Personnel Dept of the University of the
Witwatersrand - i.e. Wits University.
As the years went by, I was amazed by the transformation of Wits right
before my eyes and I spoke to the people I knew there and I would hear
the stories. Wits was creating the future... Wits was THE FUTURE... and the
future looked terrible. The future was becoming more decrepit and inept.
Wits became a filthy, inefficient mess.
This is an example of Liberal policies towards Africa failing.
Liberalism, in almost any form in Africa will fail. It has to do with
the values, intellect and character of the people. They can't handle the
sophisticated concepts and the moral and character strength that one needs
to uphold a proper democracy and a liberal society. It could be that
Blacks have always had a natural tendency towards Dictatorship even under
their Chiefs prior to the arrival of the White man.
People look at Apartheid and Colonialism, and they say we were cruel to
blacks, but they do not listen to the reasons why we did the things we did.
The things we did were beneficial, not just for us, but for the blacks too.
We sometimes had to force discipline and order upon these people who have
such a strong tendency towards DISORDER. You can see that tendency towards
disorder right here in South Africa. I see it in society, I see it even in
my work. I work among Blacks and I see how they deal with each other. In the
end, maybe people like Mugabe are the only way for them to go - for a
despotic dictatorship to prevail.
Post Colonial Africa, and Post Apartheid South Africa WILL FAIL.
I have no doubt about that. All the Liberal concepts DO NOT WORK IN
AFRICA. They NEVER HAVE. The only things that ever worked, were the
methods we whites used when we ran Africa. Nothing else works here. Not
Communism, not Socialism not even Liberalism.
Apartheid was a very clever series of concepts thought out by Afrikaners
with university degrees. Those concepts could have worked if blacks had not
been so spiteful about it.
Colonialism all over Africa was succeeding brilliantly, and life was
improving. But in Post Colonial Africa that is not the case. The decline
continues and it accelerates and not even the Western world can stop it.
