ADVICE LETTER
FROM THE SPANISH MINISTERIO DEL INTERIOR ADVISING NOTICE OF SENTENCE
BY THE EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE,
It is suggested that you
copy this letter and carry it with you in the car. The quality is not
as good as it could be as it is a copy of a copy of a fax.
For
those of you who understand Spanish, note the comments in Para 3 about the
need for periodical medicals still in Spain by foreign licence holders.
These are not needed in the UK, for example, until age 70 except for
"vocational drivers" as on page 87 in my book.
Para 4 refers to registering the foreign
DL at Trafico but the EU Directive on the subject states that this is not
necessary. However, the benefit is that if you do, you should receive
avisos (advice letters) when your medicals are due thus saving the trouble
of remembering and most important, forgetting and having your DL technically
expired despite the date of expiry on the actual DL. |
