SERVICE TO ENSURE YOUR VEHICLE needs are attended to professionally and quickly.

Due to continuing requests for actual help which I do not personally have the time to carry out, I have "vetted" a local (to me) expert whom I am able to approve with no fear of any problems or repercussions,  who does this work full time and has been doing so since 1999.  He is highly qualified and until retirement, was a university lecturer in languages, so he is fluent in English, Spanish (of course) and ???   as such, his full-time work is solely attending to:

• Transfer of foreign vehicles onto Spanish registration.

• Transfer of ownership, Spanish to Spanish vehicles.

• Attending to Motoring and general fines.

• All driving licence administration matters.

• Organising NIE numbers and Residence Certificates.

• ITVs of vehicles.

• Vehicle technical and legal surveys before a purchase decision is made.

 This expert is able to overcome many of the problems that vehicle owners can encounter as he has all the necessary official contacts and knowledge.

Once he has your requested and supplied information as below, he will supply a quotation based on that information.  If there are any subsequent problems due to incorrectly supplied information or any other reason, he will re-advise the new cost explaining the reasons.

He is based in Fuengirola in Malaga Province but with the administration work now capable of being completed on-line, it means that he can carry out the service for anywhere in Spain.

This is how it works:

You wish to import or transfer a motor vehicle.  This includes cars, trucks, vans and motos.  You complete the form below which is then E-mailed to me by clicking on the "submit" button.     I check it to see if there is enough information, if not, I send you an E-mail for what else may be needed.  I then pass the information to my contact who will then advise you of any potential problems as described in the book, Motoring in Spain, Third Edition, if necessary to ensure a speedy job is possible.   He will then advise you what needs to be done if he is going to carry out the administration to get you on the road legally in the shortest time.  Please note that any quotation for the service does not include mechanical work needed to any vehicle, such as repairs or left-dipping headlights, etc. to get it through the Certificate of Compliance and ITV inspections, but these may be quoted on as and when needed to speed the procedures if required by yourself.

THIS SERVICE SO FAR IS FREE.

If you live on the Costa Del Sol from Nerja to Estepona, he can also offer the service of taking the vehicle for the necessary checks to satisfy the authorities including any ITVs required.  He will ensure the paperwork is done quickly often in as few as seven days, and you may collect the documents from his office or they can be sent via courier if you wish.  If needed,  temporary registration plates can be organised so the vehicle may be driven in the meantime.

If you live further away, in fact anywhere in Spain, you can carry out the simple tasks of taking the vehicle to the ITV Station for the physical checks and an advice list will be sent to you with instructions in English and Spanish (for the staff at the ITV station) to make it very easy for you to follow.
